Africa: Fire, Fuel, and Infrastructure

Recently, Professor Singer, the Director of Tharaka Invention Academy shared a message with the Academy’s followers. It struck me as a very important message to share with the rest of the world, particularly those in Africa and in the African Diaspora.

I feel the weight of history moving beneath our feet. African genius has already built the wealth of the world. That is not poetry; it is economic arithmetic. Enslaved African labor capitalized the first banks of the United States. Revenues from Caribbean plantations fueled Britain’s industrial revolution. West African resources underwrote the rise of European commerce and manufacturing. These are not ideological claims—they are historical ledgers.
