Kenyan grass roots organizations like Society for Alternative Learning and Transformation (SALT) are composed of members who are anxious for Africans to return to time tested ways of life which emphasize the natural ways of indigenous cultures before their displacement by colonial rulers and entirely foreign ways of experiencing and practicing life on planet earth. Young inventors will have ample opportunities to invent new uses, medicines, and recipes for plants, herbs, and seeds which have almost disappeared from use on the African continent.
