The importance of changing Africa’s narrative about itself and the world is paramount. Black pride lies at the foundation of this ever changing narrative. The film and media industry and the creatives within it are key to making this happen. The debts and gratitude which will be bestowed upon the African innovators who will lead the way to making the 21st century “Africa’s Century” will be enormous. Idris Elba’s remarks strike at the very core of why Tharaka Invention Academy is pursuing its mission of supplying Africa and its people around the world with creative problem solvers and inventors.
