Two humpback woodcutters find both fortune and misfortune is this story. The hardworking one meets some fairies and the other meets some evil ogres. “Domingo Siete” (Sunday Seven) is one of Mexico’s best known tales. Any time somebody has done something very foolish the others will say, “y salio con su Domingo Siete” (he came out with his Sunday Seven), meaning that he has said or done something foolish.
