This children’s folk tale tells of a snake that was killed years before by a kindly woodcutter who saved the life of a bird about to be eaten by the snake. The ghostly spirit of the strong-willed snake has returned vowing vengence on the woodcutter. They meet again and the woodcutter begs the snake for his life when the snake gets the best of him in an unforseen encounter. Just how will this story end?
