Global Elites Relentlously Covet Control of Africa

Big groups with special protection can make plans for us in Kenya as well as the rest of the Global South without letting us ask questions. At Tharaka Invention Academy, we will keep control of what we can. Our apprentices will learn a simple habit when they innovate, invent, or solve problems: read any agreement, ask “who owns the data and results?”, “who can say no?”, and “who fixes the problem if things go wrong?” We will practice this on real examples so you can use it in your town.

Each month, we will share one short, clear story on WhatsApp and email. No big words—just what a new project really means for a farmer, a school, and a ward office. When any “adaptation” project comes near our community, we will ask our three questions, write down the answers, and keep records. We will work with one honest office at a time and give a two-page brief within two days, plus one local, low-cost option.

Our alumni will help by sending us photos of public notices and the right phone number for complaints. Our media will be simple: two slides—the promise, and what it means for your land, your data, and your fees. Our rule is firm: local control, open to checks, and able to stop or fix harm. If those are missing, we pause, share the facts, and ask to change the plan.
