The Gold edition of Flightradar24 reports the outside air temperature reported directly from the aircraft using Extended Mode S data. While the number of aircraft broadcasting full or partial Extended Mode S data is increasing, it is generally limited to aircraft with a newer transponder. Actual humidity records can be gathered from local weather reports and the included chart can be used as a rough estimate of temperature variance with altitude. Don’t be bamboozled.

Examine the included charts as a rough guide in determining the likelihood that what you may be observing for 15 minutes is a “water vapor contrail”. If you witness “persistent contrails” at conditions not matching these (warmer than -40 degrees F and humidity less than 100%) then they are NOT “water vapor” contrails, they are chemtrails (artificial chemical cirrus clouds). Phone the airlines and determine if passengers were on the flight AND gather the name(s) of the pilots just as rightfully as any passenger onboard the flight could. You have the legal right to record, without notification to your call recipient, any calls you make. When you post or share this information, including date-stamped photographic/video records, on social media, with lawyers, courts, YouTube, law enforcement, or the general public, it becomes part of the public record and the lies will surely fall away.
