Hello World, Here We Come

Everybody has the capacity to be brilliant from birth; they only need the correct resources to do so. Although creativity may come naturally to some people, the process of creation must be taught. That is what we shall work to achieve each and every day. In order to continue innovating, learning, and growing, we are here to support and nurture the upcoming generation of scientists, businesspeople, and innovators of all types. People of African heritage are very creative, clever, and imaginative, even though many of them are still unaware of it, according to founders of Tharaka Invention Academy. We are here to give the future generation the resources they need to be successful innovators and creators on desktops, laptops, tablets, or smart phones.

By developing an invention school curriculum that takes into account actual experience in the field of innovation, we founded Tharaka Invention Academy. Our objective is to prepare individuals for a life of innovation in business, industry, and governmental organizations as better concepts are found and applied in the actual world. In order to conduct discussions about how to improve things in the hopes of inspiring the following generation of creative leaders and entrepreneurs, our apprentices will develop their abilities to use their hands and minds in collaborative contexts.

LEARNING BASED ON PROJECTS, STEM, AND STEAM

In order to collaborate, identify, and solve problems through the long-term development of their original innovations, inventor apprentices use their Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) knowledge. Students study the procedures for patenting, research, product design, prototype engineering, and marketing communications using our in-house curriculum.
Tharaka Invention Academy course offerings end in a design presentation where students propose their ideas and receive helpful criticism from professionals. Teachers will discover that their students are developing important skills, cross-curricular knowledge, confidence, and self-esteem, all of which contribute to increased course effort, a good attitude, and overall learning success.

Teachers can easily use the online curriculum in an in-class or remote environment and they don’t need to have previous innovation experience. All that’s needed is an inquiring mind, observational skills, and a desire to help students prepare for the jobs of the future. Our courses are designed for cross-disciplinary, interactive and engagd learning to inspire and build confidence in African students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Students often see problems in need of better solutions. The challenge for them is learning how to navigate from observation of the problem to configuring a solution that works and communicates to others. This skill is widely sought after in today’s working world and in nations struggling to raise their self-reliance and living standards.
