Mutaranga Hill Community Race

I serve as Deputy Director of my Community Based Organization, Tharaka Invention Circle CBO. We sponsored a community race event in Chiakariga’s Mutaranga Hill in order to plant trees and reclaim the hill from the ravages brought on by climate change. The event was a huge success and very well received by the community. Special thanks to the event organizer and CBO Director, Miriam Muthoni as well as all of the other organizers and volunteers. Special thanks also to the agencies, NGOs, businesses, and individuals who sponsored the event with their generous donations and HARD work.
