My Little Buddy

Poor guy. He/she (I dunno) appears to be missing one leg. In nature, that’s not enough to stop the show. Though not at all aggressive at well over 4 inches (100 mm) in length, he’s neither speedy nor shy, nor fearful. Miracles happen all around me all of the time. I quietly mourned the continuous loss of habitat, and wildlife in the U.S. in recent years. Bug splattered windshields after a long trip is rare because people are killing them off at breakneck speeds through a web of toxic practices. Not so in Kenya. There is no hive mind of lemmings hurtling toward their destined end… We’re fortunate to not have our communities become rich, spoiled, and insensitive so there’s no karmic payback for centuries of greed and cruelty. Anyway, I’m just enjoying the rich diversity of all of my little friends and I’ll share on this platform even though dissenting voices like mine struggle to be heard above the algorithms. Resisting the rule of the algorithm takes energy and creativity and courage, and the risk to flourishing world culture is that our technological skill and our cultural exhaustion are working together to bury our humanity. This is why I established Invention School. (https://inventionschool.tech/Stagingnew)
