Tharaka Invention Circle CBO In The News
It is a relief for fruit farmers in Tharaka Nithi County who have been estimating huge losses due to rotting of fruits due to lack of market. A social organization in the area, Tharaka Invention Circle CBO, has created a fruit drying device using the sun’s rays to preserve fruits from spoiling. And as Nelson Mboco informs, mango, banana, papaya and tomato farmers have been estimating losses for many years. This device developed by the CBO, is aimed at improving the economic well being of Tharaki Nithi citizens and any other counties in which it will be distributed and used.
