When spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion.
MEMBERS & VISITORS:

THE AI STRATEGY THAT TURNS IDEAS INTO IMPACT
New Capabilities. New Opportunities. Same Shared Mission.
I hope this message finds you well. Since our last conversation, Tharaka Invention Academy has undergone a dramatic leap in capability. What we’ve built is not just a curriculum—but a globally scalable, AI-powered learning system that empowers low-bandwidth learners to become innovators, problem-solvers, and community builders. With the release of newly advanced AI and the tools we’ve built around it, students can now upload sketches, audio notes, or working prototypes—and receive tutoring, critique, and personalized guidance without needing constant internet access or ongoing faculty oversight. They can interact with custom AI tutors designed to reflect African values and cultural wisdom, engage with auto-generated micro-apps tailored to their innovations, and receive Socratic-style questioning that deepens their critical thinking. Even with weak internet connections, learners can work asynchronously, using offline-first features to complete tasks and prompts. These are just samples and these aren’t a vision—it’s already in use.
I invite you to watch this 13-minute video titled “When spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion” that explains what’s now possible—and how your institution can be part of this transformation. TIA does not offer degrees or credentials. We are seeking institutions like yours to provide the academic recognition, accreditation, and hands-on validation that gives this innovation framework its full legitimacy and structure. Because the book-based curriculum is self-contained, asynchronous, and globally accessible at modest cost, there is no requirement for institutions to take on content delivery or operational overhead. Rather, we welcome partners and institutions that see value in aligning with a scalable, affordable innovation model—whether by endorsing learner achievement, supporting research into AI-powered problem-solving, or publicly recognizing the potential of this new learning approach to expand their own global footprint. These partnerships involve no obligation to host, assess, or distribute content. Instead, they provide your institution with visibility as an early supporter of AI-augmented, globally inclusive invention education—without requiring changes to your academic systems. I’d be honored to reconnect and explore how we might move forward—recognizing both the deliberative process your institution must follow and the urgency of preparing learners for the challenges ahead.
We’re surrounded by promises of innovation. There are a million apps for brainstorming, patent searches, and 3D modeling. There are well-known techniques and methods like Design Thinking and TRIZ and others which cover a very wide range of areas requiring solutions to problems. What does Tharaka Invention Academy offer that this whole ecosystem doesn’t already provide?
That’s the precise gap we fill. The current landscape is a fragmented toolkit. An innovator might use one app for mind mapping, another for technical research, and a third for project management—none of them speaking to each other. Tharaka Invention Academy’s model is the integrative orchestrator.
Professor Singer conceived all of this and put it together in a smart package. We will tell you just a bit about him.
He’s someone who helped build spaces like the Nairobi Cultural Center in Nairobi, California, then carried that same spirit of invention to Ghana. There, out of sheer necessity, he created tools, furniture, even whole learning environments from whatever was at hand. That experience shaped his lifelong belief that innovation is not a luxury—it’s survival, and it’s freedom. If you would like to know more you can watch a short documentary about him entitled “Journey in the Heart of Africa”. Just follow the link.
