THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY
Over the decades I have come to experience a full range of life’s chapters: births, education, early family life, accomplishments, failures, work, celebrations, death, and yes MARRIAGE. I recently had the privilege and honor to attend the engagement celebration party of my very good friend Duncan Nthigah (AKA Dun). I arrived at his family home and met his family and friends and celebrated with them all in a very African way! Guests were well fed and entertained and they, in turn, contributed generously to the new couple’s financial assets. Worldwide, most couples are not rich at the beginning of their life journey together. Am I RIGHT??
